Today, a very big question is confronting the nation. Is it possible for any party to win elections by tampering with EVMs? This question is being asked in the wake of an incident that took place in Assam.
An EVM was caught being transported in BJP MLA Krishnendu Paul’s car. Thereafter, a ruckus was created by some 50 people by calling up the police to seize the EVM and a small tension prevailed in Karimganj district of Assam.
I am not defending the BJP MLA. Yes, there was a lapse and questions should be raised and should be raised dutifully.
However, there are some other questions also being asked and they should be answered.
When you see the images of the seized EVM, there is only one EVM belonging to one booth. There are lakhs of booths by the way.
Moreover, if Krishnendu wanted to tamper with the EVMs, he could have transported it in another vehicle. Why would he use his car, unless he is as Pappu as Rahul Gandhi.
And, how is it that some 50 people came to know about the transportation of the EVM in that particular vehicle?
Actually, the EVM was being transported in Krishnendu’s car because of the breakdown of the vehicle belonging to the Election commission. Therefore, as an alternate arrangement, Krishnendu’s car was used.
However, I am not denying any lapse.
My question is – is it possible to turn the entire election in Assam in favour of BJP with the seizure of one EVM, and that too was sealed?
And, the bigger question than this is – is it possible for a party to win by the misuse of EVMs in the entire country? Imagine. To carry out this malpractice, it requires lakhs of people across the country.
Can anybody show me, at least one video evidence of an EVM being tampered with at any stage of the process. Not a single video evidence has cropped up since the inception of EVMs.
And those who cry about EVMs are those who are not confident of winning.
And, these are the same people who did not send their technology experts to hack the EVMs when the central government invited them to participate in a hackathon. Nobody went. Why? Because they knew EVMs cannot be hacked.
Moreover, these people are confused. They are not able to decide, whether the BJP is tampering with EVMs with the use of chips that are programmed in such a way that even if somebody presses the button for other parties, his vote will be registered for BJP. That is there allegation.
So, if you say the chips are programmed, then what is the need for stealing the EVMs?
Look, ladies and gentlemen, these people are trying to poison your minds by saying that BJP uses EVMs in their favour. This is not the truth which I have explained in the beginning of this video.
This understanding of the dynamics of the EVMs is very necessary and you must take the lead to spread this message by sharing this video.
