People, you must be aware of a plea filed by the left-liberal mafia in Delhi High Court.
They had sought a direction to the Central government to stop the ongoing construction of the Central Vista Project, contending that the site was a potential Covid-19 super spreader and was a sheer waste of public money.
However, the Delhi High Court dismissed the plea of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s detractors. This is a tight slap on them and an eye-opener for Rahul Gandhi and his stooges.
Remember what “Prince Dumbo” had tweeted? He had tweeted that the Central Vista Project is criminal wastage and blind arrogance of Modi to get a new house for himself.
This is such a disgusting tweet as though the Prime Minister’s house at the site is meant only for Modi. “Prince Dumbo” must realise that he could also be among the lucky ones to occupy this house if he accidently becomes Prime Minister.
He must also understand that taking up infrastructure work during a recession is a very good step. Because such works give employment to many people and help the government to bring the economy back on track. This is Keynesian Theory. Hope “Prince Dumbo” knows it. Then, what has he done his MPhil in Development Economics for?
The judges also termed the plea as a “motivated petition” and not a “genuine public interest litigation”. They also said the order of Delhi Disaster Management Authority does not prohibit construction work and its legality was upheld by the Supreme Court.
The judges expressed their satisfaction with the government making arrangements to ensure appropriate Covid behaviour of the workers staying at the site.
Appearing for the Central Government, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta called the instant petition an abuse of process of law and sought penalty on the petitioners.
He also alleged that the instant PIL is a façade, created to disguise the Central Vista Project that they always wanted to stop under one pretext or the other.
He said: “It is just an attempt to some kind of vanity in the minds of some individuals that now we will stop this. Petitioners are not concerned with workers or the lives of citizens.
Public interest is very selective in this particular case. They don’t care about other workmen. They don’t care about what happens to citizens of Delhi through the other projects that have been going on!”
Even the construction company ridiculed the petitioners by saying, “These two petitioners cannot decide when the project is likely to be completed. Tomorrow someone will say celebrate 15th August on 30th August. Has this pandemic jolted us so much that we forget the importance of this national function, he exclaimed.
The Delhi High Court has unmasked the ugly face of the Congress men, whose only intention was to sabotage the project, just out of hate for Modi. Period.
