Following is a very interesting factual note forwarded to Nissim Moses by Brigadier (Retired) Benson Daniels of the Indian Armed Forces residing in Pune. Moses is a Jewish friend of India Speaks Daily living in Tel Aviv. He lived in Mumbai before he returned to Israel as its citizen in the late 1960s.
The note dismantles the lies of the Arabs that the Jews were invaders and settled in Israel.
The note argues that the Arab leaders like Yasser Arafat, Saeb Berkat, Fisal Abd al-Qader al-Husseini, Sri Nusseibeh and Mahmoud Al-Zahar, who were born in Cairo, Jordan, Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo, claim they are native Palestinians.
But, Israelis leaders like Ehud Barak, Ariel Sharon, Ehud Olmert, Yitzhak Rabin, Yitzhak Navon and Ezer Weizmann, who were born in British-Mandate Palestine, are considered invaders and settlers. Wow!
Not only this, there are some more interesting facts that further dismantle the lies that Arabs are inhabitants of Israel.
Consider the following facts.
One – Israel became a state in 1312 BC, two thousand years before the rise of Islam, but Arab refugees in Israel began to identify as Palestinians only in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.
Two – after the conquest of the land in 1272 BC the Jews ruled the land for a thousand years and had continuous presence in it for 3,300 years. The only Arab rule after the conquest in 635 BCE lasted only 22 years.
Three – for more than 3,300 years Jerusalem was the Jewish capital. Jerusalem never was the capital of an Arab or Muslim entity. Even the Jordanians, when they conquered Jerusalem, did not make it their capital and Arab leaders did not visit it.
Four – Jerusalem is mentioned more than 700 times in the Bible and not once in the Koran. It is mentioned as the land promised to the Jewish people. King David founded the city of Jerusalem, Prophet Mohammd’s foot did not set foot in it.
Five – Jews pray facing Jerusalem and Muslims pray with their faces to Mecca. If they are between Jerusalem and Mecca then they face Mecca and their backs to Jerusalem.
Six – in 1948, Arab leaders encouraged Arab refugees to leave Israel by promising to purge the land of Jews. Sixty-eight percent of them escaped without seeing an Israeli soldier at all.
Jewish refugees were forced to flee Arab countries because of violence, persecution and pogroms on the part of the Arabs.
The number of Arabs who left Israel in 1948 is estimated at 630,000. Number of refugees the Jews from Arab countries are estimated at is the same number.
The Arab refugees were deliberately not absorbed into the Arab countries, despite their huge territory. Of the 100,000,000 refugees in the world since World War II, they make up the only group that was not absorbed or integrated into the countries of their people.
The Jewish refugees were all absorbed in Israel, a state no bigger than New Jersey.
So, we leave it to our readers to decide who are the invaders – Arabs or the Jews?
