Karnataka Betters Kerala In Dealing With Coronavirus
The China-funded Lutyens media, who are singing paeans of Kerala for curbing the Chinese virus, could be in for a rude shock, as Karnataka has bettered the neighbouring state in dealing with the virus.
This was revealed by Karnataka Minister S Suresh Kumar when he gave the comparative figures of other states.
Speaking to media via e-conferencing, the Minister said Karnataka’s positivity rate of Coronavirus is 2.5 per cent compared to Kerala’s 2.63 per cent.
The positivity rate of Rajasthan is 2.82 per cent and Maharashtra’s 5.53 per cent, besides Delhi registering 9.13 per cent, he said.
Tamil Nadu registered positivity rate of 11.52 per cent, he added.
In last five days, Karnataka’s growth rate of Coronavirus stood at 6.42 per cent, meaning eleventh position rank wise, Kumar said.
He also announced the launch of help desk in partnership with Whatsapp to dessiminate updates and facts pertaining to Coronavirus. “The number is – 8750971717. People can also visit our page on Facebook,” he said.
Replying to a query, Kumar said, at this point of time, it is not appropriate to say whether Karnataka has stormed into the community spread stage and shouldn’t be revealed.
