Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in Parliament, has said the Centre has information from several agencies that money came from abroad and rest of the country and was distributed in Delhi before the morning of February 24.
This is not a fairy tale the home minister is weaving just like Rahul Gandhi does. It is based on clinching evidences.
ED and intelligence sources, investigating Delhi riots, told India Speaks Daily that there is a Pakistan link to the mayhem. They have picked up on a telephone conversation between a Karachi handler and a person in Uttar Pradesh.
The Pakistani handler is shouting for failing to gather a huge number of anti-CAA protestors at Shaheen Bagh, despite pumping in huge sum of money. He also is egging the UP handler to bring in more protestors to create chaos.
This, intelligence sources said, establishes money trail through hawala operatives from Pakistan to Delhi. This was the old route, through which the hawala money used to come to Delhi from Pakistan via Dubai and sent to Kashmir for terrorist and separatist activities.
Intelligence sources also said that the money was likewise routed to incite Delhi riots too.
Similar cases also were registered against PFI, which is already facing a separate PMLA probe for allegedly inciting anti-CAA protests across India.
PFI also is facing ED probe for routing Rs 120 crore to fuel anti-CAA riots in the country.
Already two PFI members – Mohammad Illiyas and Parvez Ahmed – have been arrested for their alleged role for inciting Delhi riots.
Moreover, Enforcement Directorate has booked suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Tahir Hussain, Islamist group Popular Front of India (PFI) and some others on charges of money laundering and alleged funding of Delhi riots.
Hussain has already been booked by the police in the murder of IB staffer Ankit Sharma in northeast Delhi amid the violence over the new citizenship law.
In a chilling details emerging in Ankit Sharma murder case, the Delhi police has revealed that the IB official was stripped naked before he was killed. The disclosure came after the arrest of Salman, an accused in the case.
Police said Ankit was draped in a black cloth and was taken to Hussain’s house and stabbed to death multiple times. Later, his body was thrown in a sewer in Chandbagh area, which was recovered a day later.
The FIR copy, which is in possession of India Speaks Daily, mentions that injury marks were found on Ankit’s head, chest and face. After killing him, an acid-like liquid was poured on him to conceal his identity.
