Just when the new revelations are cropping up everday relating to the extortion case, the Shiv Sena seems to have hit upon a plan to divert the attention of the people from this controversy.
Shiv Sena’s spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi has vociferously picked up the issue of Coronavirus in the state of Maharashtra.
She has shot off a letter to Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan requesting him to make COVID19 vaccination accessible to all persons above the age of 18 as the state faces acute shortage.
This is nothing but a political ploy to insinuate that there is a shortage of vaccines in India and the central government is unable to handle the situation.
However, the facts say something else. As per government records, Maharashtra has received One Crore Six Lakh Nineteen Thousand One Hundred Ninety total number of Covid vaccines, out of which Ninety Lakh Fifty Three Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Three have been consumed.
Moreover, there are Seven Lakh Forty Three Thousand Two Hundred Eighty vaccines in the pipeline. And, there still are nearly 23 lakh doses available.
So Priyankaji, where 23 lakh doses went? Why do you indulge in understatements?
Priyankaji, you cannot win the false narrative with the bunch of friendly media you are surrounded with. I do not want to mention their names here, because they are everywhere on Twitter rallying behind your political understatement.
What do you want to achieve? That the people should forget Palghar lynching case? Should we forget Disha Salian, Sushant Singh Rajput, Mansukh Hiren and extortion cases?
No, these are unforgettable events and shall smoulder until justice is met.
And the timing of this shigufa (planted story) from you is astonishing. This comes on a day when Sachin Vaze’s letter to NIA came in public domain.
Sachin Vaze has accused Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab’s name in the extortion racket run by Uddhav Thackeray government.
Is that bothering the Shiv Sena? Looks like.
