Lutyens media’s lies on CAA have claimed a high-profile officer’s job at the United Nations.
This cabal had spread lies around the world on the Citizenship Amendment Act saying that it excludes Muslims from enjoying the country’s rights. It deliberately did not enlighten the world about the law which has been brought to protect religious minorities from neighbouring Islamic countries, who had taken refuge in India.
Adama Dieng picked up the Lutyens media lie and has paid a heavy price for it. He has lost his job as Special Advisor of the UN Secretary General.
This was confirmed by BJP MP Subramanian Swamy. He tweeted: “Three Defamation Notices were drafted by Ishkaran:UN Under Secretary General Adama Dieng, BBC and Indian Express for recklessly publicly abusing me on cut paste statements of mine on CAA. One has become a casualty: Mr. Dieng’s tenure has not been extended by UN SG. Two to go.”
Dieng had accused Swamy for his alleged statements where he told that “all people are not equal”, and that “Muslims are not in an ‘equal category’ as others” and termed them alarming.
He also called CAA a discriminatory law that excluded Muslims. “Excluding Muslims is contrary to India’s obligations under international human rights law, in particular on non-discrimination,” he stated, exposing his ignorance in the matter.
The law, in fact, is nothing to do with Muslims, but the persecuted minorities who came to India from neighbouring Islamic countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh (Muslim doninated).
Taking cognisance of Dieng’s slander against him, Swamy sued him for defamation with the backing of BJP and the central government.
“I am honoured & encouraged to receive from the BJP National President J.P. Nadda and office bearers their best wishes for success on my endeavour to prosecute for defamation the United Nations Under-Secretary-General Mr. Adama Dieng. I am also thankful to the MEA for facilitation,” he had tweeted.
