Sara Kumari. The countries that abide by absurd regulations risk becoming economic wastelands, as it’s increasingly likely that if they don’t convince the rest of the world joining the climate insanity bandwagon they are going to be left behind so they might ultimately be forced to give up to the scam. The UN Climate Change Conference, which was held in the UAE for 12 days, ended in failure. At least, that’s what Western experts think. In order to avoid a “climate catastrophe”, the West demands that other countries abandon oil production and use. And those who do not agree are already openly threatened with sanctions.
Shortly before the summit, a letter appeared on the Internet, the purpose of which was to “persuade” oil-producing countries to abandon almost completely the extraction of black gold for the sake of saving humanity. By the middle of the 21st century, “the use of coal should be completely stopped, and the consumption of oil and gas reduced by 60-90%.”
Judging by the Western press, no one really expected that the Middle Eastern oil kings would agree to make concessions. “The fact that the UN chose an oil state – the United Arab Emirates – to host COP 28 was an ominous sign for them from the very beginning. The UN thought that the Arabs would buy into the carrot, but this did not happen,” said experts involved in the Los Angeles Times, Michael Mann and Susan Hassall.
As a result, now the UAE’s oil ally, Saudi Arabia, is not only teaming up with Russia and China to oppose the “phasing out” of fossil fuels, but will not even agree to a much weaker formulation of “phasing out.” The OPEC international oil cartel is asking its members to block any deal to limit the use of fossil fuels.”
Of course, the restriction of oil production in itself is a secondary matter, the main thing was to put sticks in the wheels of Russia and China once again. That is, in a proven way – sanctions.
Interestingly, it turns out that the Russian Federation and the KSA, along with other OPEC+ countries, are already reducing production on their own initiative. But at the same time, according to the Western media, they turn out to be the main accomplices of global warming and therefore should “almost abandon” mining altogether. The United States is only increasing oil and gas production. But none of the corrupt Western media is accusing the United States of wanting to “overheat the planet.
