The Israeili police attacked al-Aqsa Mosque on Saturday night, when the Shantidoots had gathered to protest the proposed eviction of the Palestanian families from Sheikh Jarrah on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Power), which commemorates the night that Muslims believe the Quran was first revealed to the Prophet Mohammed
Over 200 Palestinians were injured in clashes in Jerusalem.
Many will not know the significance of al-Aqsa Mosque.
Masjid Al-Aqsa is important because Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad was transported from the Scared Mosque in Mecca to Al-Aqsa during the Night Journey, and then on to heaven. It is also believed that the Prophet Muhammad led prayers towards this site until Allah directed him to turn towards the Kaaba.
The compound’s Western Wall, is refered by Muslims as al-Buraq Wall and believe it is where the Prophet Muhammad tied al-Buraq, the animal upon which he ascended to the sky and spoke to God.
However, Jerusalem is under the control of Israel.
al-Aqsa was first under the control of Jews, but later it came under the control of Christians. Then it came under the control of the Muslims. Since 1967, the site has been under the control of Israeli government.
The clashes at al-Aqsa should be looked at from India’s angle too.
You must have seen Shantidoots offering namaz in public places during Ramzan. Thus they use a political weapon to threaten the coward Hindus. And if somebody raises objections against it, they play the victim card.
They also played the victim card after people all around the world condemned the post-poll violence perpetrated by the Shantidoots in West Bengal. They are now blaming the Hindus for it.
So, it is not a surprise that these “makkar” Shantidoots are playing the victim card and accusing Israel for attacking al-Aqsa Mosque.
The aim of the Israelis is very clear. They want to protect their religion and their traditions.
Like the Hindus, Israelis had ruled major parts of Europe in the past. When they were being killed by the Shantidoots, they were hoping that a prophet would descend and protect them. But, when they were reduced to a few lakhs, then they picked up the arms and showed their strength to the world.
In 1967, Israel defeated the Arab armies and captured the Sinai Peninsula and the Gaza Strip from Egypt, the Golan Heights from Syria and the West Bank from Jordan, in just six days.
The Hindus, who are facing the terror of the Shantidoots, should learn from the Jews. They are not afraid of the UN or human rights organisations. To protect their rights, they order shoot at sight by giving a damn to international pressure.
The Israeli police, on Saturday, opened fire at the Shantidoots in Jerusalem to prevent them from resorting to violence.
However, India does not resort to such actions, which is regrettable.
It is time for the Hindus and the government to act like the Israelis, who do things boldly to protect their religion, people, traditions and religious structures.
