Kangana Ranaut said Bollywood is a hub of anti-national and anti-Hindu, which is controlled by some power-drunk Bollywood personalities.
“This is a very complex structure. People in Bollywood who have acquired power over the period of time with the support of previous governments create anti-national and anti-Hindu narratives,” she told Republic TV.
These people do not have courage to make a film on Halala, which Meena Kumari also had denounced, but they make anti-Hindu and anti-national films, she said.
“Meena Kumari had denounced Halala. But, not a single filmmaker makes a love story on Halala. In PK, they mocked at Hindu idols,” she said.
Kangana also lamented the silence of Bollywood stars who don’t speak a word against the criminalities upon Hindus.
“Not a single Bollywood star came out and spoke against the lynching of the sadhus. They were beaten up mercilessly. Their heads were severely injured. None spoke. Why? They are scared. Some know the secrets of their drug dealings. Some of them need films and others are greedy. It is a web of greediness, the Bollywood film industry,” she said.
Kangana also said: “Who is empowering these powerful Bollywood people? Our nation is empowering them.”
The actor burst out after the nexus between Bollywood and drugs came to the fore during CBI enquiry into Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
