Attack On Republic Is Attack On Hindu Nationalism, Time For Prez To Act
The Congress spokesperson’s admission that the top-most leaders including Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar’s involvement in plotting the shutting down of Republic TV are not only a political conspiracy against the channel but also against Hindu nationalism.
The Uddhav Thackeray government, which is remote-controlled by the masters of appeasement politics Sonia Gandhi and Sharad Pawar, has been carrying out a sustained and malicious campaign against Republic TV.
Court cases, physical attacks, and bringing pressure on cable operators not to stream channels belonging to the Republic Media Network, are some of the parts of their malicious campaign.
The campaign has been launched amidst Republic’s relentless attempts to probe cases, including Palghar lynching case, Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Hathras case, Triple Talaq, Ram Mandir, Delhi riots, Balakot attack case, and other cases.
The eco-system, which thrives on the dead meats of appeasement and anti-Hindu politics, has been rattled by Republic TV’s relentless campaigns against their propaganda and fake narratives.
Since they are finding Republic TV editor in chief Arnab Goswami as a thorn in their flesh to carry out their false narratives, they are swooping on vulturous ways to shut the one and only nationalist channel in the country.
It is high time that the President of India takes cognizance of this biggest expose of the decade and dismiss the Maharashtra government, which is using the state-machinery to shut a news channel, which is the fourth pillar of democracy.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh unabated has been meeting the goals of his masters – Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and NCP President Sharad Pawar – by hook and crook.
He held a press conference on October 8 and tried to sully Republic TV’s image in the alleged TRP scam on the basis of vindictiveness for political benefits.
The channel exposed Param Bir Singh by showing the email by BARC which did not mention the channel’s name in its report.
The Maharashtra government earlier today contradicted Param Bir Singh’s allegations before the Bombay High Court during the TRP scam case hearing.
The Bombay High Court also reiterated the Supreme Court’s stand on the pattern of Parama Bir Singh giving interviews.
Republic TV has vowed to fight these strong-arm tactics and has directed their legal team Phoenix Legal to initiate proceedings to sue Param Bir Singh for Rs. 200 crore damages.
Rs 100 crore for damage to the reputation of Arnab Goswami, and Rs 100 crore for the damage caused to the Republic Media Network.
Earlier today, Republic TV streamed a sting operation revealing the fascist Uddhav Thackeray government’s plans to shut down its operations in Maharashtra.
Yesterday, Republic TV had conducted a sensational sting operation on Congress spokesperson Raghvendra Shukla at the Congress headquarters in Mumbai.
On camera, Shukla admitted that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government has set up a special task force to dig dirt on Republic TV and hound, by hook and crook.
The alleged TRP scam was just the beginning, but there are many more cases to be filed against the channel in the coming days, Shukla said.
The police department will act as per Uddhav Thackeray’s instructions and the strategy is to lock Arnab Goswami behind bars, Shukla said.
The mastermind of the plan is NCP President Sharad Pawar, who is running the administration, and if he says no case will be registered against the channel, then nothing will happen, Shukla said.
