Mr Rahul Gandhi has stirred yet another hornet’s nest.
In an interview, he told Professor Kaushik Basu that RSS unnecessarily was re-writing the Indian history.
Why shouldn’t it be rewritten? After all, the people have given the mandate to BJP to rewrite history.
Though it has not categorically mentioned in the election manifestos of 2014 and 2019, it has promised to bring in a New Education Policy, which implies that it would rewrite the history too.
Anyway, the people of India will not allow the Narendra Modi government to relax. They will put pressure on it to rewrite the history, and should be done. It is much needed.
After all, it is a fake history that students read in schools and universities. It has been chronicled by the Left intellectuals patronised by the left-leaning Pandit Nehru.
They twisted the historical facts and events, suiting their Left agenda, an agenda that is anti-India and anti-Hindu.
These historians made people believe that Mughal emperors Akbar, Aurangzeb, Babur and other Muslim dynasts were benign rulers, but the fact is that they were tyrants who slaughtered millions of Hindus and Christians during their rule.
They also demolished millions of Hindu temples and plundered their riches and transported them back to their home countries to run their empire.
This is number one.
Number two, Mr Gandhi. Why you want history not rewriten? Is it that we should accept the lie that Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a dacoit. Or accept Sardar Bhagat Singh was a terrorist.
And, why are you afraid of rewriting history? Is it so that the people would know the truth that your great grandfather Motilal Nehru was not a Hindu; that people would know that your father practised another religion on the sly; that people would know the reason for Indira Gandhi bowing for a few minutes in silence at the grave of Babur in 1968 as mentioned by Natwar Singh.
Do whatever you can, we will force this government to set right the distorted Indian history and expose you family’s lies.
Jai Hind.
